The Portal Operating System is a framework,
or set of pre-built components that implements the critical processes
for the server side of your business application. These core services
include security, auditing, task and note management, among others.
UnitedThinkers
uses Enterprise Java Beans for the delivery of these services,
which allow greater flexibility in the setup of your business solutions.
We use semantic analysis and rules derived using the SDA philosophy,
which means that your application will not be limited to one process,
but a number of related services you need it to perform. While the tasks
performed by POS (described below) may be the same as those performed
by products of other companies, their performance is not. We will
ensure the best possible delivery - when you approach the problem
intelligently, you come out on top!
- Security - provides management of users, permission and access control
- Auditing - delivers and manages the history of changes made by
any user to any record within the system
- Report Management - a PDF-based report generation and delivery system
- Wizard Management - a framework for Wizard implementation and
invocation. Wizards are business-oriented processes that perform
various types of calculations on the system's data.
- Note Management - manages creation and browsing of
textual notes that can be attached to different records in the system
- Task Management - framework for implementation of basic task management
functionality, such as creation of projects and tasks, tracking of progress
and reporting.
